SCRUB-A-DUB-DUB
Is exfoliating your skin truly important? I'm just about as low maintenance as they come. As much as I have tried, I don't enjoy spending what feels like hours in front of the mirror doing at home spa services. (Or getting manicures, or pedicures, or massages but that's another story!) I want beautiful skin just the same as the next girl but I want it without having to spend forever or use tons of products! My routine is simple. I use Tata Harper Rejuvenating Cleanser followed by Coco Kind Organic Facial Repair Serum. I have seen a huge difference in the appearance and feel of my skin since I been exfoliating on a regular basis. Here are 7 reasons you should try it too:
1. Makes skin smoother (by removing dead cells that make skin rough to the touch as well as
smoothing wrinkles! Okay, so it's not Botox but it can help them to appear smaller)
2. Works to naturally brighten skin (removes lackluster causing dead skin cells to reveal your natural glow)
3. Lighten Dark Spots (getting rid of the dead skin cells will make those spots appear lighter)
4. Gets rid of acne (by removing the dead skin cells they cannot collect in your pores therefore helping to prevent and to get rid of current acne)
5. Shrink Pores (Okay so your pore size has way more to do with generics but... You can at least keep dirt and such from getting in them and making them appear larger)
6. Boost your skincare routine (you can use all of the best products in the world but if they are greeted by a "brick wall" of dead cells they won't be able to penetrate deep enough to do their job)
And finally my personal favorite:
7. Help your makeup go on evenly (nothing gives your makeup a smoother canvas than exfoliating)
I have combination skin and loads of allergies. I personally LOVE Tata Harper's Regenerating Cleanser because it is free of my major allergy concerns. "This gentle exfoliating cleanser delivers rejuvenated, radiant-looking skin. This cleansing treatment buffs and polishes with apricot seed powder, removes buildup with pink clay and pomegranate enzymes, and refines pore appearance with white willow bark—a natural salicylic acid. Skin is left feeling balanced, hydrated, and glowing, while the refreshing grapefruit essential oil adds a vibrant citrus scent."
You can use which ever exfoliator best suits your skin type!
Don't overdo it gorgeous! On average we should exfoliate two to three times per week. Comment below and let me know which exfoliator you like to use!
